- Redbird is an analytics automation platform for the enterprise - empowering anyone within an organization to easily automate and unify their analytics work in minutes, without writing code. We are looking to add a Software Engineer to our dynamic team who would be an important part of growing our business.
The Software Engineer will contribute in the following areas:
#### Software Implementation
* Participate in agile sprint planning sessions and daily standups where the team aligns on implementation priorities / details
* Write code to implement new applications and functionality within the Redbird platform
* Iterate with team running software testing / QA to perfect the product
* Optimize and maintain existing platform code
#### Software Design
* Ideate and design software solutions to solve customer data problems
* Provide input into creating UI / UX wireframes as well as plans for back-end architecture and overall code structure
An ideal candidate would have the following profile:
* Fundamental knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and React / HTML / CSS
* Experience developing a basic web application or software program
* Strong interest in data analytics and SaaS platforms
* Appetite for working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with the potential for exponential growth
* Desire to play a direct role in growing a company and software product
* Ability to take on significant responsibility starting day one and be exposed to multiple aspects of the development cycle
* Comfort working with data and talent for solving problems by leveraging technology and data
* Prior exposure to data science and statistical modeling a plus
We are looking to fill the Software Engineer role quickly given recent growth. In addition to base salary, this role has the opportunity to participate in our stock option plan.
