- Help real people breathe better. Build cutting edge AI apps. Make a lasting impact.
**That's what we do at Kivo Health.**
We just raised our Series A! We're looking for a full-stack engineer to help us build our tech-enabled healthcare clinic. **This is an in-office, Seattle role only.** Come work with our talented team, including a former NASA engineer, a Stanford MD, and a multi-time YC founder with 1 exit. We founded Kivo after learning that only 3% of patients were able to access lung therapy.
Our ideal candidate has fully embraced AI coding tools, and has 3+ years of experience with technology like:
* Python/Django
* TypeScript, React, React Native
## What you’ll do
You’ll heavily use AI engineering tools to design, build, test and ship software. You’ll work on LLM-powered workflows, UI/UX for patients and internal users for our webapp platform and our mobile apps. You’ll constantly be looking for ways to upgrade your use of AI tooling and AI applications in our product.
## What we're looking for
* You don't write code anymore. You've fully embraced AI to co-create software.
* You're a software generalist.
* You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven startup culture.
* You're excited to work directly with the company founders.
* You have a strong desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
* You are located in Seattle (or plan to move here).
## We're not a good fit if...
* You prefer working at large companies.
* You don't want to live and work in Seattle.
## **Your first 90 days**
* 0-30: Ship a bugfix on your first day. Learn our systems, backend business logic, and AI tools stack.
* 30-60: Build an in-house MCP server to enable AI to process backend ops tasks.
* 60-90: Build an AI-powered workflow to cut down charting time from 40 minutes to 5 minutes.
## Benefits
* Series A startup equity
* Healthcare
* 401k
* Unlimited PTO
