API keys & MCP

Generate an API key to use Employbl from any MCP client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor) or over the REST API. The same key authenticates both, and every account may call both without limit. The only ceiling is the rate limit — 60 calls a minute, 5,000 a day, shared per key.

Setup notes

  • Keys idle for more than 90 days are automatically expired. Regenerate if your client stops working.
  • Header-bearer keys work in Claude Code CLI and Claude Desktop. The claude.ai custom-connector UI expects OAuth and is not supported yet.
