The VP, Technology Alliances will develop and drive the success of technology alliance partnerships with KnowBe4. The ideal candidate will uncover new technical integrations to create value propositions for our joint customers and drive revenue through integrated sales and marketing alignment. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the product, marketing, and sales teams to create value, develop collateral, and enable GTM synergy on demand gen and sales. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing tech alliance partnerships and develop integrations, marketing and GTM initiatives that drive unique value for joint customers, and source or influence new customer engagements
  • Work with the Product Integrations team to identify product integration opportunities that address new customer use cases and build business cases to prioritize
  • Understand the alliance partners’ business objectives, go-to-market approach, and channel and use this insight to build and execute partnership strategy focus on new sales and customer acquisition
  • Understand who the key decision makers and influencers are at the partners, find areas for highest impact new business to both parties, and drive execution with the partner across functions - sales, marketing, and product.  
  • Influence key senior, mid-level and line-level relationships on prioritization and strategy
  • Develop a systematic way to measure success of tech alliance partners and track results
  • Assist in building a tech alliances program to attract new partnerships and to sell partners on the program
  • Present sponsorship opportunities to alliance partners to participate in key KnowBe4 events
  • Streamline internal processes to maximize the success of our alliance partnerships

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree
  • Minimum 5 years work experience working with tech alliance partnerships
  • Experience in the IT Security or SaaS technology industry a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to build rapport through phone calls and email
  • Superior Customer Service skills
  • Sales management aptitude while being persistent, consultative, and supportive
  • Persuasive communication skills, accompanied with the ability to gain a quick understanding of the needs of channel partners
  • Ability to forecast accurately and build a pipeline
  • Strong communication, collaborative, and team working skills are critical

The compensation for this position ranges from $275,000 - $300,000 including base, bonuses and commissions.
