About the Company
Apono is a fast-growing startup in the cloud permissions and access management space, with a mission to provide enterprises with secure, scalable, and efficient solutions for Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just Enough (JE) access.
As we expand, we’re looking for a seasoned HR leader to drive our people strategy, foster an exceptional company culture, and support our dual-location teams in Tel Aviv and NYC.
Job Overview
We seek a VP of HR to lead our human resources function and play a critical role in building an organization that supports our ambitious growth trajectory. This role will oversee HR, legal, and finance-related HR activities, employee experience, and operational efficiency across our Tel Aviv and NYC offices. The VP of HR will be a key executive team member, driving initiatives that align with our company goals, scaling our HR infrastructure, and ensuring a cohesive and inclusive culture across both locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training processes in Israel and the US.
- Oversee organizational development, including performance management, career development, and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations in both Israel and the US.
- Manage and guide HR teams across both locations.
- Develop and implement employee retention and engagement programs.
- Work closely with company leadership to support global growth and expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles, ideally within a startup environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor regulations and compliance in both the US and Israel.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, organizational development, and performance management.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and English.
