Role Description
As the VP, International for Dropbox, you will manage a centralized EMEA Growth function, responsible for defining country and language specific technical, Growth and operational strategy. You will manage a team of Growth Managers that will work across business units (Dropbox Core, Document Workflows), payments, tooling, QA, localization, pricing & packaging, compliance and GTM teams to develop and execute company level country/language/region-specific product-led strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead execution of Dropbox’s country and language specific technical, growth and operational strategy in EMEA for self serve customers.
- Evaluate Dropbox’s existing EMEA strategy and recommend strategies and tactics to accelerate growth in the region
- Build a world-class EMEA Growth team and provide coaching, thought partnership, and mentorship to team members; You will define a strong team culture and provide the vision for the team
- Work cross-functionally to align GMs, Growth, Marketing, QA and Operations teams against a central company level strategy
Requirements
- Experience developing technical and go to market strategies for US companies in EMEA
- Experience with localization, QA, payments and compliance issues in EMEA
- 10 or more years of experience in Product Management or Growth at a technology company
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple partners; experience with a scaling business is a plus
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives, the ability to develop strong working relationships with other business functions quickly to operationalize key strategic initiatives.
