Reporting directly to the CPTO and joining the company’s Executive Committee (ExCo), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform and driving the diversification of our product suite. Based in our largest office in Warsaw, you will not only lead engineering efforts but also serve as the senior leader for the office, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who will help us expand and develop new financial products that will open up new avenues for our customers and position Capital.com as a broader, more diversified financial platform.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Innovation: Work with the CPTO and leadership to shape and implement a technology strategy that supports product diversification and growth beyond CFD trading
  • Efficiency & Scalability: Improve development pipelines to deliver scalable, high-performance products in a fast-paced environment. Promote best practices in software development, automation, and continuous delivery
  • Office Leadership: As the top leader in the Warsaw office, maintain a positive, high-performance work environment. Act as a leader who fosters growth and represents the office within the larger company
  • People Development: Drive the growth of the engineering team through hiring, mentoring, and leadership. Develop top talent to keep Capital.com at the forefront of technical and product innovation
  • Executive Leadership: Join the Executive Committee and contribute to the overall strategic direction. Advise the CPTO and other C-level leaders on technical strategy and product development.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles, ideally in fintech, financial services, or high-growth tech companies
  • Product Diversification: Proven experience leading teams to develop new products or expand platforms into new markets or verticals
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in building scalable, high-performance systems with expertise in modern software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and agile practices
  • Leadership & Influence: Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, driving consensus, and influencing senior stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical vision to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic Vision: Forward-thinking with the ability to identify emerging trends in financial services and develop products aligned with long-term company goals
  • People Focused: A leader passionate about building and mentoring high-performing teams, committed to talent development and fostering a positive, inclusive culture
  • Location: Based in or open to relocating to Warsaw, Poland.
  • What you'll get in return:
  • A strong commitment to work-life balance, so you can thrive both professionally and personally
  • Modern office located in the heart of the Warsaw city, designed to inspire and support your best work
  • Flexible hybrid working model that adapts to your needs
  • Performance-based annual bonus to reward your contributions and impact
  • Comprehensive benefits package, competitive within the industry
  • Top-tier equipment and technology to ensure you have everything you need to succeed
  • Workflex policy offering 30 remote workdays per year, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world
  • Employee referral program to reward you for bringing great talent into the team.
