Position Type: Full-time, Exempt (Onsite)
Compensation:
The compensation for this full-time position in the US is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 (DOE) + discretionary bonus. The range may vary based on factors such as location, job-related skills, experience, and education. Benefits are available to all full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week. Please note that the compensation information listed in job postings only includes the base salary, and does not include bonuses or benefits.

Job Summary
The Technical Designer will be responsible for leading the technical design process for a product line, ensuring that all garments meet company standards for fit, construction, and quality. This position will support our Academy Girl's
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and development teams to create and maintain technical packages using PLM system
- Ensure all garments meet fit and construction standards through the use of fit models, fit sessions, and technical sketches
- Communicate with overseas vendors to ensure garments are constructed correctly and to resolve any issues that arise during production
- Provide technical expertise to design and development teams to ensure garments are properly engineered
- Develop and maintain technical design standards and guidelines
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in technical design for apparel
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and fit
- Experience working with overseas vendors and managing production
- Experience with PLM systems - Centric Preferred
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other technical design software
