Team Lead, Supply Chain Project Management

Supply Chain at Adyen is growing rapidly, expanding our presence in the In Person Payments (terminals) and in Issuing (physical cards) field. As we grow exponentially, we need to ensure our supply chain processes are fit for the future. In order to put more strategic focus on the development of our operations we are creating a new team: Supply Chain Projects & Architecture. This team will be responsible for the strategic plan and project management of improvement initiatives across the different areas of our operations (e.g. Warehousing, Logistics, Services, etc). We are looking for an entrepreneurial program or project manager to take the ownership in shaping the team. You will be working across time zones and regions, together with our global supply chain teams to co-create scale-up plans and execute these.
 
What you’ll do

  • Create the scale-up strategy for supply chain at Adyen
  • Own, delegate or execute projects focused on warehousing, logistics and operations
  • Collaborate with different functions and regional stakeholders in order to ensure we are scalable across the globe
  • Leading and building a new global team

Who you are

  • You are a self-starter that sees opportunities rather than challenges
  • You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience of which a part has been in a supply chain related field.
  • Ideally you have experience with project/program management.
  • You are able to balance the strategic with the tactical, seeing the helicopter view while being able to get your hands dirty when needed
  • You and ambiguity are no strangers, as you will need to find your own way in shaping your role and the team
  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with other clearly and emphatically
  • You enjoy connecting and collaborating with others
