Team Lead, Development 

As a team lead of the North America Payments team you will be working close to the core of the payment’s platform, but also in contact with the business. This team is part of the Payments Engine solution area and works in collaboration with the Acquiring team and other Payments teams in APAC, EMEA and LATAM. The main focus is supporting the North America region growth regarding local payment methods and global schemes customizations.

 

What you will be doing

  • Managing, developing and coaching a team of 8-12 java back-end developers located in Chicago, San Francisco and remotely.
  • Continuously thinking about the scalability and reliability of the payment flow as the volume grows.
  • Implementing new integrations to payment methods important in the region in the areas that Adyen decides to explore commercially.
  • Working in close collaboration with Product and Partnerships on managing compliance releases of local schemes.
  • Maintaining an inclusive team culture focused on autonomy, ownership, collaboration, communication, and impact.
  • Joining the weekly meeting with all Team Leads and Staff Engineers in the Payments Engine around the globe.
