For our ambitious Sustainability team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Sustainability Analyst Intern from February 2023 for 5 - 6 months. 

During this internship, you will support the Sustainability Manager with key analyses, tracking and reporting on various sustainability metrics, and assisting on the management of various projects and initiatives to drive the success of the Sustainability Agenda. This is a unique opportunity to develop yourself and gain experience in a growing business that is leading the way in the food industry.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact:

• Perform ad-hoc analyses to generate insights for the Sustainability team or other stakeholders needing to know more about sustainability
• Take ownership of the tracking and reporting on various sustainability metrics (e.g. Food Waste %, CO2 emissions, weight of packaging per recipe etc.)
• Support with the implementation of projects to reduce our environmental footprint, for instance being involved in our packaging reduction and circular packaging initiatives
• Support with the preparation and delivery of internal sustainability trainings

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

• You are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a relevant HBO/WO program, for example in Earth/Environmental Sciences, Sustainable Packaging, Sustainable Innovation, Sustainable Business or International Development
• You ideally have previous internship or volunteer experience and are motivated to drive change and make an impact in the food industry
• Enthusiasm for sustainability, a strong analytical profile, and interest in HelloFresh are key!
• Sustainability topics are not new to you: you have in-depth knowledge of the sustainability themes relating to the food industry, and are keen to apply it in a business environment
• Data collection, analysis, and management come naturally to you: you must be comfortable working in Excel
• You don’t shy away from a challenge and are able to perform in a fast-paced and continuously changing work environment by being proactive and organized
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Dutch is a plus
