Strategic Pricing Analyst

We’re looking for a hands-on experienced Strategic Pricing Analyst for our Commercial Pricing team. As a Strategic Pricing Analyst you will work with different teams (e.g. sales, account management, product management & finance) to ensure we set the best possible prices that reflect our premium offering to merchants.

Our team helps define the best commercial prices and discount guidelines for different products and payment methods. In addition, we support commercial teams around the globe with creating the best commercial pricing proposals by providing them with means such as tools, insights and training. Finally, monitor price developments to spot trends and identify opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with Product Management on setting value based prices of new and existing products
  • Analyze our pricing structures and models to set the right prices 
  • Determine requirements to ensure our pricing strategy is reflected in our CPQ system
  • Create content for our knowledge hub to share information, guidelines and best practices about pricing across a 300+ commercial team
  • Build out pricing trainings in collaboration with the commercial academies
  • Drive our capabilities to help the commercial teams with value based selling
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account management on the biggest deals and optimize pricing proposals
  • Develop tools for commercial roles to optimize pricing proposals 
  • Create dashboards and reporting to keep track of our pricing developments

We are looking for somebody with

  • You have 2+ years of relevant experience in a commercial environment, preferably in a pricing, strategic or analytical role
  • Experience with delivering projects from beginning to end
  • The ability to work in a high pace environment where you need to prioritize and continuously evaluate how to maximize your impact
  • The skills to convert insights into tangible output such as optimized processes, tools, programs or trainings
  • Experience in telling compelling data driven narratives
  • Preferably you have experience in Looker, SQL or you are willing to learn these
