Our teams own the next generation of data platforms focusing on scalability and performance to facilitate the hyper-growth of our all-in-one productivity platform.We are looking for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Solution Architect for our team to help us maintain, develop and scale our data platform. The vision for this role includes:Core Role Responsibilities:- Help the Platform engineering develop a holistic view of infrastructure architecture and standardize patterns across multiple engineering teams.
- Analyse infrastructure requirements and choose an optimal, scalable, cost-effective solution
- Help developers to move PoC solutions to production-ready templates in Terraform and CDK (we use both)
- Help squads to choose optimal solutions in AWS stack (RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, S3, etc.) and define deployment blueprints
- Develop, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting deployments and lifecycle management
- Take part in production infrastructure health monitoring / troubleshooting and recovery from critical incidents.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent major.
- 5+ years experience with Terraform and/or CDK defining AWS infrastructure for large scale data platform solutions (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, ECS, SQS, SNS)
- 5+ years experience in managing cloud environments/systems
- Direct experience in backend application development from scratch
- Demonstrated/expert knowledge use of PostgresSQL and/or Kafka
Preferred Qualifications:- certified with AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- experience in designing, implementing and maintaining high performance, high availability, large-scale web based software applications
- experience working in a start-up environment, with can do attitude and efficient in dealing with ambiguity
