Description
As Senior Director, Real World Solutions (MD&D), you will play a critical role in the growth and success of Aetion by providing expert consultation and advice to our growing Medical Device, Diagnostics and Digital Therapeutics client base. In this role you will support the Medical Device and Diagnostics team on RWD/E strategies, use case development, and client interactions as we lead with science to maximize impact and ensure Aetion’s commercial success.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with and present Aetion’s value proposition to existing and prospective MD&D customers and partners.
- Support the conceptualization and development of business and partnership opportunities within MD&D.
- Develop solutions to complex real-world evidence questions, advise on study design and methods, prepare use-cases and lead high quality client presentations.
- Engage with epidemiologists, biostatisticians, health economists and other researchers both internally and within clients organizations to demonstrate the power and versatility of Aetion.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within accounts and develop deep knowledge of the customer organization.
- Lead client discussions, collaborate to develop solutions and build relationships to support long-term client partnership.
- Work collaboratively with critical cross-functional teams including Marketing, Growth, Science, Product, to articulate and craft opportunities ahead for the AEP.
- Inspire and develop our medical device and diagnostics customer strategy.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's or doctoral degree in a quantitative discipline, preferably in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics or related field. BS degree with 6+ years of relevant
- 6+ years of experience in the medical device and diagnostics industries
- 6+ years of relevant work experience with core epidemiologic and biostatistical principles as applied in medical device, diagnostics and/or digital therapeutics research
- Experience in real world data and real-world evidence
- Experience delivering analytical products or services to med device, diagnostics or digital therapeutics customers
Preferred
- Strong relationship building/interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and 'big picture', to formulate appropriate solutions to solve client business needs
- Consulting experience
- Strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent oral, written communication skills
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and decision making
