[Mission of the Role]

As a Solution Engineer, you will have ample opportunities to learn about STRADVISION’s deep learning-based vision perception software and promote it to automotive customers, working closely with Sales, Product, Project Management and Engineering teams.
You will be responsible for leading technical discussions between STRADVISION and customers. By understanding technical requirements, answering to questions about product features and key performance, you will support sales directors and project managers so that STRADVISION and customers are able to agree on development targets and milestones to bring our cutting-edge technology into vehicle models. 


[Key Responsibilities]


  • Elaborate & present the introduction of company, products, services and technologies to customers. Deliver customer presentations, demo videos, workshops and webinars
  • Support sales/account directors, jointly aiming to achieve sales targets to bring financial results to the company, including analysis of local market trends & competitors' dynamics
  • Proactively engage in customer communication/presentation in a timely manner of answering customer’s questions & requests, technical troubleshooting and others in cooperation with project management and engineering team
  • Support Sales directors to analyze customers' technical product roadmap & requirements (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and the technical impact & feasibility based on the internal product development status & road map
  • Support for marketing activities including booth duties at external events (trading shows, exhibitions, etc.) and presentation in conferences to extract the new demands and movements of potential customers


  • Initial point of contact of receiving external stakeholders' requirements and requests
  • Elicit & understand automotive customer/market requirements of OEM/Tier-1’s ADAS Vision perception algorithm features at system/software level
  • Understand customer expectations & needs of key features/applications in terms of performance level, maturity, coverage, timing, etc. 
  • Work closely with a development team in HQ to support the technical analysis of customer requirements as well as internal sales and project planning process
  • Lead and facilitate internal and external technical requirement review meetings at acquisition phase to clarify and summarize the concept & scope of the project
  • Manage customer requirement specification in a standard template
  • Collaborate with Requirement Engineers for continuous improvement of requirement management


[Basic Qualifications] 

  • 2+ years of work experience in software development or system integration
  • 1+ years of work experience in sales or other customer facing responsibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
  • Excellent communication skills in written, spoken, and presentation form
  • Excellent requirement engineering skills about elicitation/analysis/writing/verification of requirements
  • Understanding of OEM/Tier-1s' product road map, technical requirements, and development processes
  • Understanding of the market trend of active safety fields
  • Driver’s license and 1+ year of driving experiences in local environments
  • Fluent in German. Business level in English, both spoken and written
  • Professional demeanor and enthusiasm teamwork


[Preferred Qualifications] 

  • 4-10 years of work experience of both development and sales in automotive industry 
  • Experience of deep learning-based software development. Professionally or personally  
  • Experience of projects operated per ASPICE/Functional Safety process requirements 
  • Experience of active safety products & technologies; ADAS & Autonomous driving, vision processing algorithm (Deep learning), Vision SoCs, etc. 
  • Experience of automotive industry requirement management tool; CodeBeamer, Polarion, DOORS, etc.
