About the Role 

Neon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will help lead the development of one of our key work streams. As a design-minded engineer, you'll bring ideas to life on a blank canvas, turning concepts into functional, beautiful products. You’ll be involved in the full stack of the technology, working hands-on to build and scale a core product that accelerates financial independence for game creators.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

• A full-stack background with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, and AWS.

• A passion for React and an eye for design, ensuring that every product feature you build is as functional as it is visually stunning.

• You are highly productive, able to take ownership of key initiatives and deliver results.

• You have experience leading teams or projects and enjoy helping others level up their skills.

• Located or willing to work in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago (in-office).

Our Process

We have designed our interviews to be as efficient and effective as possible, so once you pass our initial screen, please prepare for 4-6 hours of interviews across 3 rounds over 2 weeks.

[Level 1] Recruiting Intro : 30 min

• Gain a better understanding of the Neon business and the engineering team.

[Level 2] Technical Phone Interview

• One (1) 1-hour technical session over CoderPad with our engineers

[Level 3] Meet the team: 4 hours

• Two (2) 1-hour technical sessions with our engineers to walk through a coding and/or systems design exercise.

• One (1) 1-hour collaboration session with our Product, Design and/or GTM leads.

• One (1) 1-hour behavioral session with our head of engineering.

• Please come prepared to wow us with your skills; discuss and demonstrate how you collaborate with teammates; ask questions about how we work, and show how you'll fit in.

[Final Boss] CEO Meet & Greet: 60 min
