Knot is like “Plaid for merchant connectivity.” We are building the platform connecting merchants to the many applications that consumers and businesses interact with everyday. Our flagship product allows consumers to instantly update & manage their cards on file with online merchant accounts (e.g. Netflix or PayPal). What you’ll do

• Build complex features and projects across native iOS & Android SDKs

• Lead and drive much of the technical strategy for native development, including testing, releases, and monitoring

• Foster a culture of deep care for industry-leading user experience

• Select projects may include:

  • Direct online merchant integrations (e.g. Netflix)

  • Performance optimization

  • Password manager integrations

  • Feature experimentation to improve the user experience

  • Custom libraries for bespoke enterprise client-facing features

  • Security (SSL pinning, direct OAuth integrations with enterprise clients)

What you’ll need to get the job done

• 5+ years of experience in native development, ideally across both iOS and Android platforms

• Strong knowledge of Swift and Objective-C for iOS development, as well as Java for Android development

• Expertise with native functionality (e.g. deep linking, crash monitoring, analytics, authentication, location, etc.)

• Knowledge integrating and managing WebView components within mobile applications

• Expert communication and ability to collaborate seamlessly with product teams

• Material-UI and CSS modules for styling

• React-query/Axios for API calls

• PHP/Laravel, Typscript/Node, Python, Socket.io in the backend

• CloudSQL & Redis

• Hosted on Google Cloud Functions and k8s
