The Terminal Management team in the GoDaddy Commerce Division is responsible for the maintenance and development of Poynt Smart Terminal Management System (aka Mothership) capabilities that monitors, provisions, and updates all Smart Terminals, LCRs, Mobile apps and 3rd party PoyntOS enabled hardware. It plays a vital role in the entire lifecycle of a Payment Terminal -- from the factory, through fulfillment, at the customer site(retail stores/location) and our repair centers. This system enables real time control and insights of each Terminal, enabling CARE, fulfillment providers, resellers, banking partners and ISOs to remotely manage their customer’s devices, manage various device settings and fine tune the device for a customer’s in-store environment (network settings, timeouts, EMV parameters, etc.). If you love building impactful products that set the path for future growth and expansion immediately, join our team!

- OTA management system for the distribution of OS and Application builds to 100s of thousands of terminals around the world

- Integration with data ingestion pipelines to feed critical data that powers our business analytics and product insights
Your experience should include...
- 5+ years of Golang, server side programming, and developing secure, highly performant cloud applications in AWS
- Proven experience designing and implementing external facing, highly organized APIs
- Expertise in large scale cloud/API services, distributed systems, databases (SQL and NoSQL), event driven architectures, REST, HTTP, OAuth2, and multi-layered security
- Experience in OO, DI, IoC design patterns, messaging systems, asynchronous processing
You might also have...
- Experience working with data pipelines, data warehousing, and analytics tools (Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Redshift)
- You’ve used Kafka, Elasticsearch and Redis in production
- 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services.
We've got your back... We offer a range of benefits that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in an employee stock purchase plan, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave. GoDaddy’s benefits vary based on individual role and location and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.
