Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our reimagined products and features into tangible customer benefits. Our marketers—across Brand, PMM, Content, and Performance—are responsible for acquiring new customers and have a deep understanding of the business. We’re a highly cross-functional team and partner most closely with the Product, Sales, BD, and Design teams to help our prospects and customers grasp how we can help them reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Financial Services, you’ll be responsible for overseeing Brex’s core portfolio of financial services for startup audiences. You’ll be the expert in advising how to grow Brex’s corporate card, business account, ACH, and wires through GTM strategies and bundled solutions, as well as identifying new opportunities to expand our market share through ongoing competitive and industry research.

You will lead highly visible product launches that strengthen and expand Brex’s position in the startups banking landscape, working in close collaboration with Banking Experience, Finance, and Startups teams. Key contributions will include building audience personas, developing messaging & positioning, and conducting research to inform product roadmaps. This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing, Startups.

Responsibilities  

  • Lead end-to-end product marketing for financial services solutions (credit card, business account, ACH, wires, etc)
  • Partner with Banking Experience, Accounting, and Startups teams to understand our financial services offerings inside-out, creating messaging & positioning that reflects core value props of our products
  • Monitor the ever-growing competitive landscape for startups banking solutions, identifying opportunities for continued product development
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Product Marketing, Marketing, and Startups teams, identifying opportunities to include financial services in ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Identify metrics to assess the impact of marketing initiatives and overall customer lifecycle
  • Contribute to cross-functional bi-annual planning, working with Launch PMM team to support upcoming launches and feature updates
  • Participate and contribute to PMM culture, including attending weekly meetings and providing mentorship and support to team members
