Why we're hiring

Alloy is rapidly growing and seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our design team. We are aggressively expanding our product line and feature set this year and looking for a seasoned designer to push us forward. 

You will play a key role in imagining the future of our platform at every level from helping refine the sales process to the client developer experience to UI minutiae. You will gather insights from our solutions and customer success teams, talk with customers, collect data with our data team, and collaborate with our product team to identify opportunities then translate them into tangible product experiences. You will take a long view of roadmap and help shape our future, while sweating the finer details of our UI. You will work autonomously and own your segment of the product, while collaborating with other designers and functions to ensure a user experience free of tan lines. At our current scale you’ll be able to look across the entire product and design system and help establish the patterns that enable Alloy to be a category leader in banking infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years of product design experience, fintech or enterprise experience are a bonus.

• BA in Design or relevant field preferred.

• Experience in all phases of the design process including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.

• A strong understanding of semantic html

• An entrepreneurial attitude, excited to work in a startup environment.

• A collaborative and curious nature, your first inclination is to reach out to other functions for input.

• A well-rounded portfolio of professional design work, demonstrating simple solutions to complex problems, a mind for strategy, and an eye for detail.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Product Designer you will:

• Turn customer feedback and data into insights and translate them into experiences.

• Collaborate with other designers, engineers, and product managers to define long-term strategy and short-term tactics.

• Work with the design team and front-end engineering team to strengthen and broaden our design system, ensuring that design scales as our platform grows. 

• Participate in critique to improve your colleague’s work as well as your own.

• Present designs and prototypes to the company to help socialize a strong vision of our product’s future and incorporate feedback from leadership and other functions.
