We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Payroll Specialist to join our MENAT HR Operations team. The ideal candidate will manage payroll activities across multiple countries in the region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of regional labor and tax regulations, and advanced Excel capabilities. Experience with Workday or similar HR systems will be a strong advantage.
What you'll be doing in this role
Manage and process monthly payroll for employees across the MENAT region, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies.
Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll reports in coordination with Finance and HR teams.
Maintain accurate employee records, including salaries, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
Ensure full compliance with social insurance, labor laws, and tax regulations in each country.
Liaise with external payroll vendors, auditors, and government authorities as required.
Support audits and provide necessary payroll data and documentation.
Handle employee inquiries related to pay slips, deductions, and payroll discrepancies with professionalism and patience.
Continuously review payroll processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
Utilize HR and payroll systems (HITS experience is a must; Workday exposure is preferred) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate closely with HRBPs and Finance on payroll budgets, cost allocations, and reporting.
What qualifies you for the job
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting background preferred).
Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll within a multinational organization.
Experience using Workday HITS, or other HR/payroll software is a must.
Proven experience handling multi-country payroll across the MENAT region.
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
Strong knowledge of tax laws, social insurance, and labor regulations.
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Patient, organized, and able to multitask under tight deadlines.
