Job Responsibilities:

Develop new features while maintaining and enhancing existing systems
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, well-tested code that follows best practices
Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed
Gather requirements and document technical approaches (solution summaries, recommendations, flow charts, system diagrams)
Troubleshoot complex issues across systems (client mobile apps, APIs, integrations, etc)
Support team members with guidance, problem-solving ideas, and technical presentations
Keep up to date on existing and emerging technologies, advocating for new practices to adopt

Job Requirements:

Strong and deep knowledge about mobile cross-platform architecture
A sense of ownership with a proactive approach towards challenges
5+ years of software development experience and 3+ years specifically on mobile development with React Native
Extensive experience with JS and Typescript
Experience using React Hooks, React Context, React Navigation and cutting edge top-of-class RN libraries (for networking, geolocation, camera, permissions, etc etc)
Being a humble and respectful Team player
Familiarity with mobile development patterns and best practices
Comfortable with native technologies, both iOS and Android and their respective IDEs, Xcode and Android Studio
Ability to articulate technical terms to non technical audience

Nice to Have:

Experience coaching and mentoring fellow team members; experience with outsourced developer teams is a plus
Prior experience with GraphQL
CI/CD skills, preferably with Bitrise and Github Actions
