TriLink BioTechnologies, part of Maravai LifeSciences, is looking for a strategic and results-oriented individual to join the Marketing team. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing global content marketing campaigns to generate awareness and demand for our global portfolio of mRNA manufacturing CDMO services. This individual will specifically lead the strategy and planning of compelling customer-centric content in conjunction with the Product Management team to drive new customer acquisition, deepen engagement, and motivate customers to act. The Senior Marketing Manager will use their comprehensive marketing experience, strong technical background in the life sciences, and customer-centricity to promote our mRNA manufacturing CDMO services into specific customer segments. 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative content strategies for the mRNA manufacturing CDMO services portfolio, which includes partnering with the product management team to understand upstream positioning based on market intelligence and development and with the digital marketing team on the tactical initiatives required to achieve them (e.g., channel strategy, advertising, sales training, and support)
  • Guide the development of copy and creative content for applicable markets (e.g., vaccine development, cell and gene therapy), appropriately positioning the end-to-end CDMO service offering along the buyer journey
  • Leverage existing content and/or develop new content for use in a mix of outbound marketing channels including, but not limited to, website, email, social media, advertising placements, print, paid, and organic search to achieve high ROI in support of short- and long-term business objectives
  • Create technical/scientific marketing collateral in various forms (e.g., case studies, technical notes, application notes, whitepapers, PowerPoint presentations, web copy) and translate technical messaging to all aspects of a multi-channel marketing campaign
  • Work with and guide external creative agency partners on a wide variety of content types
  • Maintain knowledge of the trends and competitive activity relevant to the CDMO service offering and relevant markets
  • Manage and monitor the effectiveness of content, including marketing campaign downloads and new product launches, and direct adjustments to ensure maximum ROI on activities
  • Work cross-functionally with customer-facing internal teams such as product management, business development, and scientific support teams through tradeshow attendance and field visits to develop key initiatives impacting pipeline awareness
  • Collaborate with product management and sales teams on a global KOL engagement strategy for marketed and pipeline assets; Improve existing tools and develop novel capabilities for KOL identification, profiling, and engagement
  • Interact with varying levels of leadership to report on progress and escalate challenges

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a life science field with deep knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, RNA/DNA science is desired. Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing degree with equivalent experience in a related life science working environment would be considered.
  • 5+ years of related marketing experience in the life science/biotech industry
  • Experience working in a CDMO/GMP environment desired
  • Experience in driving B2B multi-channel marketing campaigns required
  • Experience with KOL strategy and engagement a plus
  • Exceptional communication, organization, analytical, project management, and planning skills
  • Strong technical messaging skillset: understand complex scientific topics, distill the key elements, create concise messaging capturing value proposition to anchor the message for different audiences
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires successful management of multiple projects and resources concurrently and with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing channels (e.g., web, email, social media, third-party publishers) and tools (Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce, Asana)
  • Collaborative with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Must be able to travel as required by the needs of the role (up to 20%)
