Senior Marketing Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join the Marketing Intelligence team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will focus on driving marketing optimization by translating data and information into actionable insights for our marketers across the globe. You will have a deep understanding of the reporting capabilities in the different marketing tools we use and make sure we’re globally aligned on the way we report in marketing. You help our marketers understand the reports and guide them in their decision making to optimize performance. Whether it is identifying the most impactful advertising campaigns, providing regions with direction on their event strategy, or sharing insights into conversion rate optimization; the role includes the full spectrum. 

What You’ll Do

  • Conceptualize, define and build KPIs, success metrics, and other analytics products to maximize our efforts across all channels
  • Implement and use models, such as multi touch attribution or lead scoring to help drive strategic and operational changes across all marketing initiatives
  • Apply creative analytical problem-solving skills to a wide variety of marketing questions to deepen our understanding of campaign effectiveness, customer journeys, and go-to-market performance
  • Build dashboards and analyze the tools and platforms that house marketing data e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics
  • Gather requirements from different stakeholders and prioritize work with the highest business impact first
  • Hypothesize, implement and analyze tests towards improving marketing efforts.
  • Mentor junior analysts in their technical work and guide them in their ways of working
  • Work closely together with our Commercial Orchestration Analytics Engineer to make all relevant datasets available to the rest of the organization through the Customer Data Platform

Who you are

  • You have shown success in an analytical environment within marketing, working on multichannel (digital) marketing for a B2B company and have experience with Marketing ROI, performance management, attribution models, and campaign analysis
  • You are passionate about converting data into tangible output such as reports, dashboards, optimized processes, programs, or trainings
  • You are a proactive business sparring partner and help guide your key stakeholders line of questioning rather than just fulfilling requests. Provide insights and conclusions from reports and dashboards, rather than just reports and dashboards alone
  • You have experience with SQL & BI tools is a must (e.g. Looker/Tableau/PowerBI) 
  • You have experience using CRM and Marketing Automation tools is a must (e.g.,Salesforce, Marketo) 
  • Experience using Python/R for hypothesis testing is a plus
  • You have 4+ years experience in a similar role
  • You are ready for ownership and look forward to being the main driver on the data insights of the marketing team
  • You are a critical thinker who is not afraid to challenge the ideas of others & have strong problem solving skills
  • You are able to communicate across multi-functional teams for technical and non-technical audiences
  • You have strong project planning and stakeholder management skills
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, working across cultures, departments and timezones and are able execute with autonomy
