About the team
The Senior Marketing Analyst will play a critical role in driving insights that inform key business decisions. The Angi Analytics team combines strategic, operational, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done and drive change across the organization.

The successful candidate is a strong individual contributor, leveraging advanced analytics techniques to unlock actionable insights from complex data sets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of analytics methodologies (regression, cluster, factor analysis), and a proven track record of delivering impactful business insights. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics.
What you’ll do
- Analyze and model data to assess marketing effectiveness, identify successful strategies, and provide actionable insights.
- Learn the complex Angi ecosystem and be the subject matter expert on all data and objectives related to the business partners you support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders to identify key business questions and prioritize analytics initiatives that drive business value and improve decision-making.
- Utilize data wrangling and statistical skills to provide descriptive and diagnostic analysis, inform marketing decision-making, and make tactical recommendations.
- Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, experimental design, testing and analytical methodology, modeling, and impact analysis.
- Develop predictive models, segmentation strategies, and data visualization techniques to support strategic decision-making and optimize processes.
- Develop and communicate analytics insights and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders, translating complex data findings into actionable business strategies.
- Manage multiple priorities and communicate business performance and project progress to management and business partners.
- Use advanced SQL querying to build scalable data sources and define relevant KPIs that align with business objectives, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing success and alignment with company strategy
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience in eCommerce marketplace and marketing.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Strong grasp of statistics, with experience in statistical languages (R, Python, etc.)
- Dbt and LookML experience a plus.
- Superior analytical, problem-structuring, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex analytics concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and analytically to solve complex business problems and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to validate results of analyses by reconciling with data from multiple sources.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits
- The salary band for this position ranges from $85,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
- This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
