Job Description

Manages the day-to-day planning and execution of the U.S. Patient Support Services (PSS) marketing strategy and initiatives, its tactical plans and activities aligned to CNS brand launches and/or inline upkeep for Consumer and HCP audiences. This position serves as an individual contributor within the Digital Excellence & Consumer Marketing function.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serves as access marketing expert
  • Uses access marketing expertise to evolve patient hub brand
  • Contributes to overall brand(s) strategy development and annual budget planning
  • Leads access marketing planning and implementation of strategies, messages, programs (e.g., sample programs, copay programs), and tactics (e.g., access website, customer-facing hub materials)
  • Collaborates with Brand Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience (patient/caregiver and HCP)
  • Partners with the Market Access & Patient Support (MAPS) team to evolve and improve access and hub services, and execute brand-aligned strategies
  • Leads the tactical plans and activities of access marketing, including those supporting paid media
  • Monitors access website analytics and develops recommendations for subsequent website releases
  • Establishes KPIs and measurement criteria
  • Collaborates with the Patient Access Manager (PAM) team for process development, operations management, and ongoing training needs related to access services support
  • Evaluates innovative technologies and tactics aligned with marketing objectives
  • Partners with cross-functional partners on relevant market research to refine access marketing strategies and/or tactics to help generate and/or incorporate customer insights
  • Partners with and supports cross-functional departments/colleagues like HCP Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Sales, and Sales Training
  • Engages with AORs and supplier partners to drive tactical plan performance effectively and efficiently
  • Develops and delivers presentations as needed to commercial leadership and other internal groups
  • Participates in and adheres to MLR submission and review processes
  • Coordinates, leads and monitors project budgets
  • Adheres to all corporate policies and industry guidelines in a compliant manner
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
  • Targeting 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
  • 3+ years of marketing experience including digital and patient support/access marketing
  • Knowledge of the US market access support services environment (e.g. specialty insurance/payer landscape, patient assistance programs)
  • Prior experience in brand marketing/management and multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Recent blockbuster brand experience, launch experience or major new indication launch experience
  • Demonstrated successes in one or more areas of marketing development, execution and measurement (e.g., market research, campaign development, program development, tactical implementation, return on investment analysis)
  • Proven track record to interface/collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals
  • Skilled at effectively leading a coordinated team effort and coordinating resources to achieve team goals
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the Medicare environment
  • Experience in rare disease is a plus

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Employee must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in accordance with our policy. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently overnight up to 30% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issue.
