Position Overview

Outset is looking for a rockstar Senior Digital Marketing Manager. Someone who lives by the data, who loves to run experiments and who is always thinking about growth. If you think in keywords and believe optimization is a job that’s never done, we want to talk to you.

In this newly created role, the digital marketing manager will own the planning, execution, optimization, reporting and results of digital marketing efforts to support our marketing and sales goals. This includes enhancing brand awareness within the digital space, as well as driving website traffic, acquiring leads/customers and driving conversion.

The ideal candidate should be very comfortable running experiments, really digging into the data and providing recommendations to optimize results. This person will manage SEO/SEM efforts to drive lead generation, as well as digital ads. She/he will select our marketing automation platform and build out an email marketing campaign. Additionally, this person will manage our website, so significant experience working with WordPress is a must.

This is the perfect role for a motivated self-starter, who likes to develop programs from the ground-up and appreciates  working in a fast-paced environment where they can truly have an immediate impact.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Help plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email and display advertising campaigns (in coordination with social team)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience, including making minor updates directly and overseeing development for larger changes
  • Own Eloqua platform, including email campaign development, lead scoring and reporting
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, not necessarily in the dialysis or healthcare space
  • Strong experience working with top tier marketing automation systems and WordPress 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc,)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Must be a self-motivated, proactive person that, at the same time, is able to partner effectively and collaborate
  • Detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
  • Effective communicator and understands how to manage up
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
