Senior DevOps Engineer - Sift Healthcare

Sift Healthcare is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires expertise in building and managing infrastructure using Terraform within an AWS ecosystem, specifically focusing on integrating with Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure-as-code principles and a passion for automating and optimizing deployment pipelines.

Sift is transforming healthcare payments by equipping healthcare organizations to fully leverage their payments data to work smarter, protect their margins and accelerate cash flow. Large health systems, leading HCIT vendors, payers and outsourced revenue management agencies use Sift's Payments Intelligence Platform, ML integrations and advanced analytics to optimize payment outcomes and enable data-driven decision-making within the revenue cycle.

Experience working with PII/PHI/HIPAA data and healthcare data is required for this role

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security within Sift Healthcare's AWS environment.
• Automate deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and release management.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS, including compute instances, networking configurations, and storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of Sift Healthcare's infrastructure and applications.
• Integrate Snowflake into the AWS ecosystem, ensuring seamless data management and analytics capabilities.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery within Sift Healthcare's infrastructure.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in infrastructure-as-code principles and tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Experience developing secure environments with an emphasis on SecDevOps practices
• Experience working with Snowflake and integrating it into AWS environments for data management and analytics.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Excellent scripting skills in languages such as Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Sift Healthcare.
• Experience implementing and supporting data science infrastructure preferred.
