We are currently expanding our Business Intelligence team, and we’re looking for a new Senior Data Analyst. You'll be working in one of our Central Europe offices (Bratislava, Brno) or from home on a full-time basis (EU based) and you´ll become a core part of the GIST Team. The salary range for Slovakia starts at € 3 000, depending on your skills & experience along with stock options and other benefits. Are you up for the challenge?

Your job will be to:

As a Senior Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

Discovering and understanding the data and reporting needs of various departments across the company
Making sure the data you work with is reliable by contributing to designing/building/modifying our source-of-truth database
Designing, building, maintaining reports used by the top-level managers in the company
Finding data insights that would lead to optimisation of internal processes and cooperation with our clients
Forecasting the future, confirming the hypotheses, finding patterns in customer’s behaviour – all well supported with data
Spreading the knowledge of Tableau across the company, being an enabler for the business users and evangelizing the usage of the platform

Your colleagues:

An international team located in Europe and the US
GIST engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure
A Data solutions architect, responsible for making sure the data you need for your work is available and reliable
Your manager helping you understand the needs of the business, prioritize your work, and verify the results
Management across Bloomreach approaching you with their various needs for reports and insights, helping them with decision-making

You have the following experience and qualities:

4+ years of experience in business analysis and manipulation of big data files
High level of expertise in Tableau, our main BI tool
A result-driven type of personality, with a can-do attitude
Creativity in finding solutions to often abstract problems, with high level of independence in execution
Good presentation skills, ability to use slides but also to present the data in a meeting, also with high level management involved
Fluency in English is a must
