About the role

✅ Target base salary of $160,000 - $200,000 depending on experience + a competitive equity package. We pay competitive with google and meta.

As a Senior Brand Designer reporting to our Creative Lead, you will be working on various projects focused on branding, graphic, and visual design.


What You'll Do

  • Design Creation: Develop visually engaging, emotive designs for all surfaces of our online platforms, including marketing campaigns, assets, iOS app, and web experience.
  • Collaborative Work: Work closely with all departments at Whop, including engineering and marketing, to develop campaigns and materials that resonate with our audience and integrate into our digital platform experience.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of design trends in the tech, creator, and marketplace economy industries to ensure our brand remains ahead of the curve, contemporary, and relevant.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work aligns with our brand guidelines and vision, maintaining a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Contribute to the design of intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience across our digital platforms.

Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in brand design with an understanding of translating product design (4+ years).
  • Strong visual storytelling skills that support launching new and emerging product features in novel ways with a deep understanding of current UI / UX trends, craft, and patterns.
  • An understanding of how design influences user experience and a knack for creating intuitive user interfaces.
  • Proficiency with design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellence in typography, color, layout, and composition.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, startup environment.
  • Excellent taste that knows how to solve problems and visually connect audience through design and storytelling.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in designing for tech startups or similar fast-paced industries.
  • Background designing for creator economy
  • Motion design experience
