Working with the Regulatory Operations team you will assist in the production of licensing material to ensure ongoing compliance with Rocket Lab’s launch and facilities license, and other regulatory and statutory obligations. You will also contribute to the development of processes and systems to ensure efficient creation and maintenance of compliance documentation and evidence to ensure material is accurate and available for regulatory audits. Be part of a team who partners with Government and regulatory agencies, coming up with novel solutions to push the boundaries of what is considered possible; all whilst maintaining Rocket Lab’s 100% public safety record.

You will flourish if you have experience in aviation, medical, legal or any highly regulated industry.

 

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Collate technical information and produce documentation used by NASA, FCC, FAA and the New Zealand Space Agency to assess mission safety
  • Interface with multiple teams, business units & government agencies - strong relationship building is essential
  • Contribute to unlock Rocket Lab’s ability to make life better on earth
  • Work in an ever-evolving landscape

YOU’LL BRING THESE SKILLS:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a compliance engineering, legal or technical writing role within a highly regulated, technical industry
  • Track record of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of the creation of or assessment of documentation necessary to illustrate evidence of safety and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and with other groups
  • Capable of adapting to a dynamic environment

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Legal, medical, aviation, safety and/or risk management qualification
  • Experience in compliance requirements management
  • Experience automating document preparation and integration with data sources
