QA Engineer - AppLovin

What we’re looking for: 

AppLovin Israel (SafeDK) is searching for an extraordinarily organized, systematic tech geek with a never-ending passion and curiosity to learn and experience new technologies. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to rigorously assess the functionality, performance, and security of our products
• Collaborate seamlessly with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to grasp product requirements and formulate effective testing strategies
• Construct, sustain, and optimize automated test suites to streamline and standardize testing procedures.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across multiple platforms, including iOS and Android, to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Apply expertise in network analysis and utilization of sniffers to detect potential issues related to network connectivity, data transmission, and performance.
• Leverage Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and programming languages to create and maintain automated test scripts and tools.
• Continuous enhancement of product quality through identifying and reporting defects, validating fixes, and providing enhancement recommendations.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software testing and quality assurance advancements.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a QA Engineer, focusing on mobile applications and software development.
• Strong proficiency in designing and implementing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to development teams.
• Experience with Client-Server testing environments 
• Mastery of Mac OS, Windows, iOS, and Android as a power user.
• Experience with Client-Server testing environments
• Experience with SQL, Linux, HTML, and JSON.
• Programming skills and experience working with programming languages like Java, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with network analysis tools and sniffers (e.g., Wireshark, Charles) for troubleshooting network-related issues.
• Solid experience with automated testing frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar - An advantage
