- Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing defense autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations for the Department of Defense (DoD) through autonomous and intelligent platforms.Position OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mission Services Project Manager to support our Mission Support Team in the organization, coordination, and execution of service operations for our autonomous surface vessels (ASVs). In this role, you will help streamline service and repair workflows, ensure mission readiness, and facilitate clear communication between field teams, engineering, logistics, and leadership. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining system processes, tracking maintenance activities, and ensuring operational efficiency across the fleet.Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of service, repair and operations projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and task assignments for mission operations and support activities.
- Ensure that services team actions and initiatives are executed on time and within defined quality standards.
- Assist in the creation, documentation, and refinement of mission service workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements that enhance fleet readiness and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with mission operation support team, field technicians, engineers, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of service and maintenance tasks.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and leadership to ensure alignment on operational priorities and timelines.
- Schedule and lead coordination meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
- Generate regular reports summarizing issues, impact, metrics, fleet health, and more to support operational performance.
- Provide visibility into ongoing mission operations, maintenance, and resource utilization.
- Support allocation and tracking of spare parts, tools, and other mission-critical resources.
- Maintain awareness of risk and bottlenecks to assist in developing mitigation plans.
- Maintain issue logs and coordinate with relevant teams to drive resolution.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of project management or operations coordination experience in a technical, service, or maintenance environment.
- Experience developing or managing process documentation.
- Proficiency with project management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project).
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in coordinating cross-functional teams.
Preferred:- PMP or CAPM certification, or other industry certifications is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of service and repair workflows, maintenance scheduling, and operational reporting.
Physical Demands- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
