What We Do: 

Talent Operations is building out a globally scaled program portfolio and operational support mechanism for Recruiting. Our team is helping The Trade Desk meet its forecasted growth with best-in-class Digital Advertising Technology products and services by attracting talent globally.  We think, plan, and scale globally when possible.  We manage a wide portfolio of programs, products, and processes that touch every aspect of the candidate journey.  Thoughtfully prioritizing our efforts, we focus on our strategic priorities and are agile in managing trade-offs with programmatic mechanisms.   


What You Will Do: 

  • As a Program Manager, you will scale efficiencies to grow the Talent Operations function globally. 

  • You will focus on customer needs and continuous improvement as you implement new mechanisms to manage events, new tools, or resources.  

  • Support development of Interview and Technical Interviewer training working Learning & Development partners. 

  • Lead point of contact for global events that Talent Acquisition is engaged with. 

  • Initiate, assess and manage key projects infrastructure, including building a project plan, communicating status, mitigating risk, and measuring progress.  

  • Lead ongoing Project Management of large-scale implementation efforts and influence without authority to partner stakeholders and decision makers.  

  • Ensure that processes, procedures, and best practices are defined, developed, deployed, communicated, and followed.  

  • Provide creative logistical solutions to solve business problems in ambiguous situations.  

  • Utilize project governance structure and methodology to ensure global consistency  

  • Responsible for management of program level updates, along with risks, issues, and mitigation. 


Who You Are: 

  • Background in operations, program, or project management. Talent Acquisition preferred.  

  • Excellent organization and project management skills- this will require aggressive planning, organizing, and coordinating, negotiating, establishing effective cross-team relationships, prioritization, and delivery against objectives. 

  • Proven ability to focus on the big picture within a constantly changing, fast-paced environment and draw similarities/analogies across various initiatives to deliver integrated, best in class user experience.  

  • Demonstrated ability to use data in decision making and recommendations.  

  • Some prior experience utilizing business process optimization methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean/Green Belt Certification) a plus.  

  • Experience with developing or implementing Interviewer Training is also a plus.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$76,900$141,000 USD
