Streamlit, is an open-source Python library, recently acquired by Snowflake, that makes it easy to create and share beautiful, custom web apps for machine learning and data science. 

As a Product Marketing Manager for Streamlit, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of Streamlit apps across a broad range of work-related use cases. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that raise awareness of the power and benefits of Streamlit apps in the context of data apps for work. Your primary objective is identify and grow Streamlit apps for work related use cases (vendor-agnostic), while a part of the role will be to introduce Snowflake to this audience, where relevant. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing messaging and positioning of Streamlit for work that resonates with developers who need to build data apps for work-related use cases (including, but not limited to, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and Python-savvy data analysts). 
  • Lead a direct to developer GTM motion driving Streamlit adoption for work, and creating demand for Streamlit capabilities in Snowflake. 
  • Identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships with influencers and partners to expand Streamlit's reach within the data apps for work space. 
  • Work with Developer Experience, Product and Engineering teams to translate key Streamlit for Work features, benefits, and value propositions to Streamlit-savvy enterprise developers. 
  • Driving marketing campaigns to developers across all relevant digital channels, including social engagement, search, email marketing, paid ads, and events/hackathons, to increase awareness and adoption of Streamlit apps for work, and create demand for Streamlit capabilities in Snowflake. 
  • Collaborate with Snowflake Product Marketing & sales teams to drive or support go-to-market campaigns that intentionally introduce Snowflake value propositions to Streamlit audiences (and vice versa). 
  • Staying attuned to trends in data science, machine learning, generative AI, Python development, cloud data platforms, and related domains to inform insightful product marketing strategies. 
  • Be an active part of the open source ecosystem. Meet and maintain friendships with people outside of Snowflake who are building cool data apps for work and creating useful content about Streamlit (e.g. related Python library maintainers). 
  • Monitoring and analyzing key metrics such as community engagement, apps created, content creators acquired to optimize marketing performance and inform new initiatives. 

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • A deeply human mindset when it comes to how to engage with an open-source developer community. 
  • Intuitive understanding of what motivates developers. Ideally, you are a developer yourself, or have deep experience marketing developer tools, data science, or machine learning products 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in product marketing, account-based marketing, or a related field. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proven track record of creating customer-facing content and product messaging. 
  • Excellent project management skills, with an uncanny ability to keeping multiple work streams and cross-functional partners in sync around timelines. 
  • Analytical and detail-oriented. You have a knack for understanding how customers use products and translating key features into benefits. 
  • Collaborative. You thrive working cross-functionally with product management, design, engineering, and other teams. 
  • You take action quickly while building strong relationships across the org, bringing people with different perspectives together and coming to a solution. 
  • Technical background. You have a good understanding of software, data science, machine learning concepts and can explain complex topics in a simple and compelling way.
