About the Team

As a Product Manager on the Consumer team, you'll work on making DoorDash the #1 Local Commerce app -- the best way to discover and order restaurants, groceries, and more. You will craft delightful shopping experiences for users, make it easy for them to compare options and order, and accelerate the invention and progress of new categories, verticals, and products by building a powerful set of tools to manage our marketplace.

You'll ship features and new product offerings to millions of DoorDash customers worldwide. This role requires skillful balance of well placed technology & platform thinking, a sharp consumer-first eye, and strong cross-functional collaboration across all business verticals in our marketplace.

We are looking for a product leader to thrives in the intersection of crafting world-class user experience, a strong eye for business impact, and a strategic mind to help users discover and shop for anything in their cities, whether that's finding a restaurant, getting flowers for a loved one, and beyond

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineering, design, analytics, operations, marketing, local markets.
  • Drive product definition, strategy, and long term vision for a critical pillar of our Consumer product.
  • Collaborate with a stellar team of researchers and data scientists to run UXR, usability studies, data-driven experiments and platform improvements to inform product direction.
  • Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics after launch. Consistently integrate behavior data and customer feedback into key product decisions.

  • You have experience shipping consumer products at scale: you've launched and scaled delightful products that impact the lives of millions or billions of consumers.
  • You have a natural ability to make stuff happen around you through influence. You handle chaos, ambiguity and complexity, in a detailed, organized way.
  • You can articulate a clear product vision to cross-functional partners and our leadership team, and can clearly communicate in plain English complex relevance products
  • You enjoy collaborating cross-organizationally, and ensure all business lines, verticals are searchable
  • You have 5+ years of product management, technical product management, or product platform experience
  • Hands-on design or engineering experience is a plus
