Job Description

The Performance Account Director will understand client business and performance complexities to develop digital media strategies that drive business outcomes. The role contributes expertise and leadership at the intersection of creative, data, and digital media. Your strong points will be understanding the nuances of the client’s business, creative insights, data storytelling, and creating structure and process for the robust internal team. 

You will build relationships with senior clients, championing the vision and positioning a sound strategy for organic revenue growth, developing scopes of work where applicable.

You will coach and inspire the growth and development of junior agency staff via providing consistent feedback, training, and growth opportunities. Once comfortable, you will also join senior leadership to scale learning and growth throughout the agency.

Prior digital creative and media client-facing experience is a must. The ability to dig into data and report creative insights from that data will be taught but is not an experience requirement.


  • This role will partner with internal Strategy, Analytics, and Creative teams to:

    • Effectively consult on creative learning agendas
    • Deliver effective data storytelling against campaigns and creative
    • Inspire larger creative strategies that can create further business outcomes
    • Identify how the outcomes we are driving by our work can scale to other parts of the business
    • Manage a scope of work and create organic growth to expand our relationship


About You

The essentials:

  • 8-10+ years of agency experience required
  • Performance experience is a must have
  • Experience in digital or social marketing is a must
  • Comfortable working with data and has the desire to learn analytics from our Media & Data team
  • Strong people skills - good at building relationships, comfortable conversationalist, with a presence that compels others to pay attention
  • Diplomatic and empathetic leadership
  • An effective communicator, strong writer and strong presenter
  • Fluent in discussing creative, strategy and in navigating organizations to get to better creative output
  • Ability to balance the best interests of the agency and our clients and their businesses

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
