What you will bring to the team

  • The People Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle People Operations support to Engine Room BU working directly with Directors and some E-Staff members. The role is critical in executing our people strategy, providing great internal customer support, and driving People functional excellence and process improvement.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Serves as the main point of contact of Wizeliners for People matters such as policies or sensitive situations.
  • Consult with line management providing People  guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with People Areas of Specialization to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. 
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and input on business restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Determine needs and design plans to address issues related with leadership development, performance and talent management, career/succession planning and company training programs.
  • Guarantee the compliance of company procedures and policies.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes

Are You a Fit?

  • At minimum of 5 years of high-level experience in resolution of complex employee relation issues. Working knowledge of multiple People disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and labor relations, performance management, employee & team engagement and respective employment laws. Relevant industry experience is a plus.
  • General knowledge about labor law for Mexico
  • Self-starter. Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation and strong commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work with senior executives 
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required (read, write and speak).
  • Location: Mexico city / Guadalajara
