We are hiring a People Ops Specialist to our People team in Sao Paulo

Wellhub is looking for a professional who is passionate about people and HR processes and wants to be part of our People Operations Team to support general HR routines in Brazil and the US. 
This person will partner up with another Specialist and an intern and report directly to the People Operations Manager, building a great experience for our employees (Wellhubber) supporting a full working cycle - from the first until the last day - as well as assisting them with all their needs during the journey at Wellhub.
An advanced English level is mandatory as we are a global Company.


  • Responsible for the onboarding process of all new hires in Brazil - having in mind that you will be the first Wellhubber they will have contact with, so ensuring an excellent experience is part of your job.
  • Collect information of new hires, ensure documents are accurate, signed and sent to payroll processing on time.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Team to ensure the monthly information is shared correctly in a timing manner, dealing with payroll activities with finance, vendors and employees.
  • Good communication with the Global Mobility team to ensure agreed timeline and compliance within the processes.
  • Be the focal point of our benefits providers, leasing with them all the necessary information (eg. add dependent on health insurance, meal voucher requests / payments).
  • Monitor changes in labor laws.
  • Make sure invoices related to People Ops services are received, accurate and sent to payment within the due date aligning the flow with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Help foster the company culture by coordinating, facilitating and overseeing employee engagement activities and initiatives for Brazil and the US.
  • Main point of contact for our office employees and vendors. Guide employees on their questions, coordinating requests, addressing operational needs, communicating policies and ensuring compliance with people practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide excellent People Operations support (payroll, BPs, finance, benefits, mobility, legal) & engage in different People Team activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: propose improvements to our current processes, suggest new ways of working and collaborating with ideas.

  • A candidate that has already experience with Brazilian Labor Law and worked in a Human Resources Ops position, looking for the next step in the career, in a tech, fast paced company, who is growing and investing a lot.
  • Experience  in Human Resources, Payroll or related areas
  • Advanced  English
  • Knowledge of Brazilian labor law and practice is a must
  • Experience working with the Workday system is a plus
  • Enjoy working on multiple priorities and projects
  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to establish steady cross-functional relationships
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Tech savvy & Experience in a tech company is a plus
