Arcellx's lead product candidate, CART-ddBCMA, is being developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (r/r MM) in an ongoing study. CART-ddBCMA has been granted Fast Track, Orphan Drug, and Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy designations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Arcellx is also advancing its dosable and controllable CAR-T therapy, ARC-SparX, through two programs: ACLX-001 for r/r MM and ACLX-002 in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia and high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome.

The Patient Logistics Specialist is a highly cross-functional role that is responsible for the coordination, execution, documentation, controls, training, and communication of activities related to the scheduling, transportation, packaging and distribution operations of Arcellx’s therapies.

The successful candidate will have a direct impact on patients in ensuring that every patient receives their therapy on time and in the right conditions.  Reporting to the Senior Manager, Patient Logistics, the group supports Arcellx’s therapies across all phases of development as the custodian of our distribution and order-to-cash processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the management of the patient logistics function for Arcellx’s clinical and future commercial products to include, but not limited to:
    • Manufacturing slot management and coordination
    • Patient scheduling
    • Patient enrollment
    • Supply of materials to clinical sites
    • Transportation of patient material and products
    • Coordination of patient samples for testing
    • Provision of JIT packaging
    • Coordination of FP delivery
  • Support the onboarding of clinical sites through the delivery and execution of:
    • Hospital training
    • Packaging instructions
    • SOP, form and process development
  • Manage external suppliers and service providers as required to support patient logistics operations and future growth opportunities.
  • Track and maintain patient logistics metrics to include, but not limited to, cycle time, utilization, cancellations and reschedules, and patient volume.
  • Partner and support functional areas in the development of required business systems that support the growth, maturity and expansion of patient logistics operations to include, but not limited to, order management, inventory management, COC/COI, AR, invoice generation, production management, BOM management, item master management, purchase order management, CRM and more.
  • Support and execute computer system validations.
  • Support and drive quality event investigations related to patient logistics management.
  • Support developmental activities to include packaging validations, process qualifications, etc.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service and patient focus.
  • Strong understanding of business systems and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Hands on experience in supply chain operations, logistics, trade compliance, materials management, warehouse / physical distribution, and customer order fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and effective relationships/partnerships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Effective communication, presentation, decision making, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Acumen in problem solving and managing priorities.
  • Commitment to quality & safety.
