Ethyca ( is a high-growth Series A startup building Fides, the operating system for Data Privacy & AI Governance. Ethyca's unique, developer-first platform empowers large enterprise organizations to process personal data and leverage new AI safely and ethically, respecting global regulations and building customer trust. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented operations manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operations of Ethyca run smoothly, including HR and People, general payroll, finance and assisting with legal matters to ensure Ethyca's NYC headquarters and global operations run smoothly.


  • Report directly to the CEO and partner with leadership across sales, marketing, customer, product and engineering to support the day-to-day and strategic operations of Ethyca 
  • Coordinate financial matters such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment processing, financial reconciliation
  • Day-to-day People and HR matters, from benefits, payroll and culture through to onboarding and off boarding 
  • Processing payroll, including employees and contractors including coordinating Federal and State filings 
  • Support the bookkeeping and financial management of the company, including tracking expenses, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts
  • Ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently by organizing and maintaining office systems and procedures
  • Responsibility for cultural activities, global events and experience management 
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, making travel arrangements, and maintaining office records.
  • Function as a strategic operations point person for the CEO and leadership team


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Experience in a related field, such as management or financial reporting, preferred
  • Exceptional time, task, and resource management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Gsuite
  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, and customer service procedures
  • Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities

Ethyca is a distributed team with headquarters in NYC and remote workers across the US. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to come into the office, located in midtown Manhattan, at least 2 days a week.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000/y
