Operations Analyst - Ghost

We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented candidate interested in the intersection of product and retail to join our team as a Merchandising Operations Analyst. This role will primarily support our merchandising team in its work with supplier partners. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience as a buyer from a retail perspective, as well as a strong grasp of systems and data. As a Merchandising Operations Analyst at Ghost, you will serve as an integral member of the Marketplace Operations team at Ghost, which supports both the Sales and Merchandising sides of the business. Ghost is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with an office in New York City as well.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is versatile and will span many areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:

• Assist in vendor management, by being a liaison between merchandising management and vendors to coordinate communication;
• Ensure data consistency and compliance with Ghost CRM;
• Assist in the management of daily merchandising responsibilities, including building, editing, and maintaining assortment sheets and presentation material;
• Coordinate meetings and projects alongside the Marketplace Operations team;
• Manage samples for merchandising and cross-functional teams;
• Ensure proper onboarding for all vendors;
• Support the Marketplace Operations Team in developing and improving processes and workflows.

ABOUT YOU

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in operations with a general understanding of the retail/apparel, home, and/or beauty industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly proficient in Google Sheets (or excel)
• Data-driven with an ability to analyze and extrapolate conclusions from large data sets
• Be a self-starter who can juggle many balls and prioritize & execute without micro-management
• Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
• Comfortable working in-office 5 days a week
