About the Department

The Corporate Services Business Unit serves as the foundational infrastructure that enables the other three business units to drive Perfect Day's growth. These functions include: Marketing, Communications, Finance, Legal, People & Culture, IT, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Facilities, Lab Services, Capital and Strategic Projects.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Master Scheduling Manager to lead supply chain management activities including materials planning, inventory management, sales and operations planning, and master production planning.  As part of a focused supply chain team supporting the business-to-business vertical, the ideal candidate will be driven and comfortable operating in a fast paced, collaborative start-up environment.

What You Will Do

  • Analyzes demand signals and forecast to develop material requirements plan (MRP)
  • Leads the sales and operation planning (S&OP) process
  • Creates and maintains the master production schedule (MPS)
  • Evaluates capacity and utilization rates to produce an optimal master production plan (MPP)
  • Develops inventory policies for raw materials and finished goods
  • Maintains finished goods available to promise (ATP) to support integrated business planning (IBP)
  • Assists with supply chain network optimization initiatives
  • Maintains select master data and performs timely and accurate transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to drive process consistency
  • Researches and analyzes data to identify demand trends and supports variance analyses
  • Develops and tracks supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Supports financial close with inventory reconciliation and inventory counts

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering plus 5 years professional experience required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Practical experience with ERP system required; in depth working knowledge NetSuite preferred
  • Employment history in biomanufacturing and/or food production preferred
  • Supply chain certification from ASCM, ISM, CSCMP desirable
  • Occasional travel required

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Handling of average weight objects up to 20 pounds; occasional standing or walking; frequently at a keyboard, workstation, or desk. 
  • Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
  • Hybrid work week with three (3) days at Berkeley, CA office and two (2) days at a home office.

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $100,000 - $125,000.
