About the Role
As a Marketing Technology & Operations Associate, you’ll also work directly with our GTM leaders & teams to drive mission-critical, cross-functional marketing and growth initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing, Growth, Business Operations, Partnerships, Product, Data, and GTM tech teams to deliver on ambitious growth goals. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Ramp’s growth efforts across all functions.
An ideal candidate excels in problem solving, stakeholder management, owning project delivery as well as working across business processes, analytics & technical needs.
What You’ll Do
- Administer/develop key marketing and GTM systems (Segment, Hubspot, Madkudu, Salesforce, Livestorm, Qualified) and related martech tooling used to generate, distribute, and report on the marketing funnel and its impact on sales pipeline and bookings
- Setup tracking and guide execution of marketing campaigns, including supporting attribution, automation, audience segmentation and execution strategy
- Manage all operational components of our automated email and paid campaigns
- Own top-of-funnel lead management, data enrichment, record deduplication, website development, email automation and system/data integrations
- Partner across Growth (Demand Gen), Marketing, Partnerships Business Operations, Tech, and Data to amplify the effectiveness of data integrations and new technology development
- Help improve marketing and sales data accuracy, reliability, and value in driving results
- Assist in evaluating, implementing and optimizing 3rd party and internal tools in the tech stack
- Be a key partner and advisor to other marketing functions, helping them understand and use technology to do more with less
What You’ll Need
- 2-4 years previous experience directly in marketing operations in B2B SaaS or Fintech
- Familiarity or previous experience with marketing tools; a basic understanding of business systems and how marketing tools fit into that system
- You have hands-on experience with campaign execution/tracking/optimization and marketing automation platform administration. You have helped marketers launch a campaign and executed some part of the technology requirements
- You have a “get things done” mentality; you can dissect problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that provide the necessary context, analysis, and recommendations to drive action
- Outstanding at developing strong partnerships with cross functional leaders and teams
- Passionate about operational excellence and process improvement
- You bring a data-driven approach with an eye on process optimization and change management
Nice to Haves
- Basic HTML, CSS, JS, Python, SQL or other programming knowledge
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Segment, mParticle, Rudderstack or Amplitude
- Experience or understanding of data pipeline technology including Fivetran, Snowflake, DBT, and Hightouch
- Marketing Automation Platform (Hubspot/Marketo/etc.) certifications
- Experience managing and using SFDC
- Assisted in implementing and administering a Marketing automation solution such as HubSpot, Braze, Marketo or Customer.io
- Experience with SQL and BI Tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Interest, desire and capacity to learn new tools quickly
- Experience and desire to operate in high-growth startups and/or high-growth technology companies
Compensation
- The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role in NYC is $127,500-$150,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
