About the Role

Now, about the opportunity: we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help drive demand-generation marketing programs for a San Francisco-based tech client. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to set strategy, define processes, and deliver high-quality results through well-managed, on-time, and on-budget projects. We partner with our clients very closely and collaboratively, so the role requires someone who builds relationships easily, is exceptional at customer service, and has incredibly strong organizational skills to get things done. Responsibilities:

  • Develop overarching project plans and define processes for cross-functional teams
  • Provide marketing and project support for various programs related to customer acquisition campaigns and marketing operations
  • Maintain and update campaign calendars as well as key project trackers for targeting/campaign assets, and launch communications
  • Communicate major milestones and priorities, as well as bottlenecks and other problems, which affect a successful delivery
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Be a key member of the team and build relationships with cross-functional partners in sales, operations, finance, and product marketing to deliver on a broader, global team goal against agreed-upon timelines
  • Track measurement and reporting goals to increase marketing-sourced revenue, track performance, and proactively identify opportunities for growth & testing
  • Conduct A/B tests with copy and creatives across different channels and lead share-out of results
  • Partner with internal and/or external agency partners to produce campaign assets to support promotional strategies
  • Ensure quality control and review deliverables prepared by team
  • Manage localization projects including translation of copy and creative assets while filing and tracking tickets in project management systems
  • Create templates and tools for organizing parallel work streams to communicate timelines/status updates to ensure team efficiencies and long-term success with newly recommended and implemented processes
  • Think strategically about go-to-market processes, make recommendations to simplify and improve

About You

The essentials:

  • Understanding of and experience working in demand generation marketing and campaign planning and operations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required; able to “act like an owner” to drive decisions, and ensure progress in the face of obstacles
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, able to develop and share a strong point of view
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals including copywriting, audience segmentation, targeting, ad serving, tracking, and tagging a plus
  • Experience in Excel. Tableau, Raptor, or performance management software
  • Experience with Asana, Wrike, and Jira project tracking software a plus
  • Experience with email marketing and A/B testing 
  • Proficient in Google and Microsoft platforms
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results on time; graceful under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of marketing experience with both internal stakeholders and client-facing contacts, with at least 2 years of demand generation experience

What We Offer

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range
$90$115 CAD
