The Problems You’ll Solve

You will build, shape and lead our marketing department and take full control of our marketing budget. You will craft a marketing vision and build and execute a long-term strategy to approach it. You are well-versed in best practice growth strategies and are able to select, adapt and prioritize from time to time. Your leadership inspires your
team and your clarity and communication skills makes it easy for everyone to collaborate on marketing objectives. You are creative and have strong storytelling skills - you connect dots and continuously translate product, brand and market context into compelling narratives. You contribute generously across departments. Your primary success metric is revenue generation via inbound lead generation and supporting outbound Sales.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

● Owning, building and leading our Marketing team across all functions (performance & growth, events, customer marketing, product marketing, content, communication, brand).
● Ensuring the overall commercial performance of the Marketing team
● Coaching and developing the Marketing team
● Creating, sharing and anchoring a vision for the future of our Marketing department, spanning strategy, organisation and career development for the team.
● Developing, iterating and executing our marketing strategy and initiatives, making sure we learn and improve.
● Managing the Marketing budget.
● Working closely with the senior management team on all kinds of wider strategic work, for example: messaging and positioning, market selection and analysis, strategic product roadmap, partnerships.
● Nurturing and improving our productive cross-departmental collaboration between Marketing, Sales, Product and Customer Success

About You

● Several years of B2B SaaS marketing experience
● Experience working in high growth startups
● Excellent technical marketing, marketing management and coaching skills.
● Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills. You can set a clear direction, report status, work constructively, and are comfortable being radically honest with those around you, including leadership.
● Comfortable working with multiple revenue streams across several product offerings in different product maturity stages.
● Comfortable operating and refining an ever-evolving commercial tech stack, currently centered around HubSpot
