About the role

Meter’s mission is to make businesses more productive and secure through providing best-in-class internet infrastructure. This role is a unique opportunity to build out and lead Meter’s Product Operations function, driving operational excellence and providing strategic direction for the business. You will work closely with Meter’s founders, and other leaders across go-to-market, product, engineering, and product operations.

You will have an impact by

  • Leading our Product Operations team, which is responsible for building the systems that enable Meter to deliver its products to customers at scale
  • Defining the mission, setting the strategy, and ultimately building and nurturing the team that is responsible for achieving Meter’s operational goals
  • Developing a high-performance team that spans across supply chain, warehouse, and deployment operations
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales & partnerships, customer experience, finance, and engineering) to help build the processes and tools that accelerates Meter’s growth and delivers a high quality customer experience 
  • Being a standard-bearer for operational excellence

You might be a good fit if you have depth in the following areas

  • 8+ years of experience leading Operations teams, ideally with companies that are either vertically-integrated or operationally complex (e.g., hardware, software, operations)
  • Operational excellence: you set the standard for what excellence looks like; you understand that details matter, no matter how big or small the task 
  • Customer service oriented: you put customers at the center of everything you do
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you are scrappy and have an outsized impact in highly ambiguous and fast-changing environments
  • Scaling and building high performance teams: you have both the experience and the drive to hire, train, motivate, and organize teams to deliver the best outcomes in record time
  • Cross-functional influence: you know how to bring teams together to work towards a common goal
  • Communication skills: you can communicate your message effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders - from installation technicians to network engineers to leaders across the company
