About the Opportunity
WeWork is looking for a Manager, Email Marketing to support the development, implementation, and management of global email campaigns. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Email Marketing and work closely with the Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and Product Development teams to support key initiatives targeted to members, prospects, ex-members, and brokers. This person should thrive in environments with high cross-functional collaboration and be comfortable working at a fast paced company with a global footprint.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Delivery:

Support the Sr. Manager, Email Marketing in the conception, production, and delivery of successful global email campaigns across key audiences

Build and launch global email campaigns targeted to members, prospects, ex-members, and brokers

Run weekly stakeholder meetings to discuss upcoming projects and support the management of the Email Marketing team’s production queue

Manage the weekly global member newsletter and corresponding content calendar, coordinating distribution of content amongst Community Teams

Support the efficiency of the Email Marketing team’s production queue, reviewing stakeholder requests, mitigating SLA discussions, etc.

Manage all global email unsubscribe and GDPR requests, ensuring asks are accomplished efficiently and in legally required timelines

Work with the Email Automation, Lifecycle Marketing, and CRM teams to identify testing opportunities for improving engagement and optimizing messaging

Align with the Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, and Member Experience teams on all upcoming member-focused emails, technology updates, and membership changes

Maintain close working relationships with the Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and Product Development teams, ensuring an understanding of their priorities and providing optimal support

Comprehensively understand the WeWork product suite and our customer journey across different audience segments, ensuring we’re delivering the right messaging and content to appropriate audiences

Monitor and analyze performance metrics and partner with the Sr. Manager, Email Marketing to provide actionable insights for driving continuous KPI improvement
Requirements:

5+ years of email marketing experience
-
Subject matter expertise in email marketing best practices
-
Previous usage of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) required

Usage of CRM and CDP tools required, preferably Simon Data and Salesforce

HTML and CSS experience required

Deep understanding of email KPIs, metrics, and reporting

Experience with A/B testing and email optimization to drive conversion and engagement

Embraces an analytical approach and is comfortable working with data and digging into numbers

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills

Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit

Passion for excellence, results, and team collaboration

Ability to excel in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification a plus

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
