Live Selling University Training Manager

America’s largest Live-Selling and Video Commerce platform is looking for a powerful contributor to our company’s success, who will build and facilitate our new Live Selling University in LA.  As CommentSold’s Live Selling University Training and Education Manager, join us in driving the next level of growth by providing proactive customer education and enablement support.

Live selling is a $500B market in China and poised for explosive growth in the US in the next 2 years. We are the market leader in the US with over $3B+ in total sales and over 7000 registered sellers.

As we continue adding the best functionality our customers need most, we’re launching a Live Selling University and Training Center in LA. This role will be onsite, and include in-person training that will be live-streamed, and supplemented by virtual curriculum and online content. Unrelenting Feedback is one of our core values–content will be iterated and continuously improved upon based on training participants' feedback at Live University, through collaboration with Account Strategy, and directly from our shops. 

This is a customer-facing role, so you will have experience training, developing curriculum, and coaching external customers on technology adoption. This team will work onsite/in-person 4-5 days per week at our Live Selling Center in Santa Monica, CA.  

In this role, you will:

  • Support the creation of our Live Selling University in LA, including end-to-end curriculum development for various end users, lead and create educational content, resources, and tools focused on adoption, expansion, optimization, and best practices
  • Build processes to identify and prioritize customer needs, gather relevant information, produce and maintain effective and engaging educational material, and measure the adoption of courses
  • Drive continuous iteration of curriculum based on feedback from course participants; Actively engage onsite at our Live Selling Center in Santa Monica, CA with trainees across segments
  • Step into the role of a Live Selling Trainer
  • Support execution of curriculum and coordination of trainers and speakers
  • Develop an on-site onboarding experience and training curriculum for new and existing customers (shops) and for rising stars that we discover
    • Enable new and existing shops to have a place to “discover” and “experience” CommentSold at our Live Selling Center
  • Develop an online self-guided onboarding content flow that compliments onsite content to drive product adoption
  • Utilize the Live Selling Center and University as a location for onboarding and engagement with existing shops to educate, drive adoption of product features, and ultimately customer success

If you’re right for this role, you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in education, business, marketing, or a related field; or a combination of education and experience
  • Have 4+ years of experience owning in-person training and development, customer education and curriculum design, and/or customer onboarding, preferably in software or product-led growth companies
  • Have live selling and coaching experience; preferred
  • Have a track record of identifying and minimizing gaps in knowledge among a large customer base
  • Have demonstrated success in building and implementing customer training and development programs that engage, educate, and deliver results against company goals and KPIs
  • Have experience teaching/training/coaching in-person, in a classroom setting; Have strong presentation skills
  • Have experience creating and hosting webinars and virtual events
  • Have the ability to problem solve, multitask, adapt to changing priorities, be decisive under ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines
  • Have strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Have a passion for education, able to leverage multiple channels to be effective with various learning styles

Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (Depending on experience and level); Bonus potential
