- Luma LA is looking for an experienced mid-senior Linux Systems Administrator. Your experience should include a mix of traditional Systems Administration, DevOps and Cloud based workflows. You should be comfortable working with physical hardware, and also have a clear track record of software automation, via configuration management and continuous integration/deployment.PLEASE NOTE:Whilst the position is based in Los Angeles. There will be a need for this role to liaise with our staff in onboarding and offboarding.Drivers licenses and ability to travel to downtown Los Angeles.Candidates must currently be located in Los Angeles and have the rights to work in US.You Can
- Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing
- Architect technical projects from designing, testing and implementing solutions to help strengthen and automate technology in a Linux environment
You Have- 7+ years experience in IT
- Experience supporting an enterprise linux environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A drive to continually learn and expand your technical knowledge
Pluses- Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
- Automation via CI systems (Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Linux Administration (RHEL preferred)
- Cloud administration (GCP / AWS)
- Large scale NAS (Isilon, Netapp, Qumulo)
- Networking(Core /
- Database backup, replication, and monitoring (MySQL, Mongo, etc)
- Infrastructure Monitoring( Zabbix/ Nagios / Grafana / ELK etc)
- Scripting (Bash, Python etc)
- Version control (Git)
- Virtualization & Containerization (Proxmox, VMWare, KVM, Kubernetes, Docker etc)
- Directory services (LDAP, AD, etc)
